Virgie Arthur's "Texas" Lawyer Has Checkered Past

John O'Quinn, the larger-than-life, big-mouthed attorney representing Anna Nicole Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, has some legal skeletons in his closet that don't jibe with the law-and-order image he tried to portray during the Judge Larry portion of the Anna Nicole legal proceedings, where O'Quinn memorably fainted.

TMZ did some digging, and it turns out that O'Quinn was punished back in 1994 for practicing law without a license in South Carolina, where he was disciplined for his methods in signing-up clients after a USAir jetliner crash. And then, in 1998, O'Quinn went through disbarment proceedings with the Texas state bar, which accused him of funneling more than $100,000 to two men who helped him recruit non-attorneys to solicit families of crash victims.

O'Quinn did plead guilty to the charges in South Carolina and ended up paying a $300,000 fine. In Texas, he was let off without punishment.

Just checked in to this site for a quick moment and I am happy to see that this latest piece of news regarding Quinn does not change the fact the HK$'s character is far worse, and, perhaps (as someone else put it) this is fair game for revealing some tid bits on HK$'s lawyers as well! THIS KIND OF TACTIC WILL NOT SAVE HK$ FROM HIMSELF!!!!!!!!!!11

67. John O'Quinn only gets involved in cases where he knows there is a lot of money. He wouldnt be messing with Vergie Arthur if his nose wasnt smelling money in the "sweet grandchild " Virgie wants to get custody of.

Everyone needs to stop treating the baby like she is the lottery... the best thing that could happen is that the Marshall case get completely dismissed and everyone that Anna owes money to will have to eat it. Dannielynn is still entitled to Social Security Survivor Benefits and the guardian would get that only.

Then the child would be loved just because she is Anna's child and not a meal ticket... poor Dannielynn.

68. Oh, I thought you were going to say that O'Quinn had slipped a "mickey" on some poor mother and her young son. Does not compare to what HKS and Ron Rale have been up to. Why not dig up dirt on Rale and big mouth Krista Barf?

Leave Mr. O'Quinn out of this smutty website, he is a decent human being who has superb qualities compared to the scum bags HKS and Ron Rale.
